Slinger Authors’ Club students (under the direction of writer/teacher Paul Walter) have been submitting to the Lakefly Writers Conference contests for years. This year, they decided to dig a little deeper into learning about the fascinating lake flies and then writing anything from poetry about them to diary entries from a lake fly’s point of view.
